What Are The Types Of Anti-Aging Medicine?

When talking about anti aging medicine or anti-aging, you think of two broad categories: on the one hand, there are medical technologies that may someday be able to slow or completely stop aging by using different materials to prevent cells from dying and rejuvenate cells whenever possible. There are a lot of anti-aging drugs have absolutely no basis in medical research. Some homeopathic medicines are placed in between these two categories as they are sometimes effective.

Antioxidants are an anti-aging type, mixtures of this type are said to scavenge free radicals, which cause premature aging. Being healthy is important when it comes to slow aging, and good nutrition is essential for health. For this reason, nutritional supplements could be considered a type of anti-aging medicine. Some supplements are specifically designed to combat the effects of aging, but can not stop or reverse the aging itself, the physical exercises that improve the functioning of the body externally and internally are counted as a treatment for aging.

Hormones also are considered the causes of aging, prolactin and cortisol are known as anti-aging medicines and controlled by hormones, drugs that protect the immune system are also counted as anti-aging drugs.

Most people believe that the key to aging is in the DNA, and the only way to be effective anti-aging medicine is to design a treatment that changes the life of cells. The aging treatment is relatively new considering the long history of modern medicine.
